Thiruvananthapuram: Rumours are circulating about the potential debut of the Galaxy S24 FE later this year, with details regarding its launch date still uncertain. Speculations suggest it could be unveiled alongside new foldable devices at the Galaxy Unpacked event in July or follow the timeline of its predecessor with an October release.
According to tipsters’ reports, the Galaxy S24 FE involves a potential adjustment in its display size. Sources indicate a slight reduction to a 6.1-inch AMOLED display from the 6.4-inch screen featured in the Galaxy S23 FE, possibly catering to users preferring a more compact phone design. Regarding its processor, rumours suggest the inclusion of the Exynos 2400 processor, although a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset option may be exclusive to the global version, with the Exynos variant possibly being the sole choice for regions like Bharat—a strategy in line with Samsung’s historical decisions concerning the FE lineup.
Leaked information also suggests the Galaxy S24 FE will boast 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, promising enhanced performance compared to its predecessor’s 8GB RAM. Storage options are expected to include 128GB and 256GB UFS 3.1 variants.
While specific details about camera specifications, design elements, and colour options remain undisclosed, leaked information mentions a familiar 4,500mAh battery, mirroring that of the Galaxy S23 FE.
