Thiruvananthapuram: Realme gears up for the launch of its latest offerings, the Realme 12 5G and Realme 12+ 5G, scheduled for March 6 in Bharat. Anticipation is high as these smartphones are poised to introduce heightened competition in the sub- Rs .25, 000 price bracket.
Ahead of the official unveiling, a recent leak has provided insights into the upcoming Realme 12 series. Realme had previously initiated pre-booking for these smartphones, offering users various benefits for early bookings.
According to leaked reports, the Realme 12 5G may come with a price tag of Rs. 18,999 for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant. It is expected to be available in Woodland Green and Twilight Purple colour options. On the other hand, the Realme 12+ 5G could be priced at Rs. 22,999 for the 8GB RAM/256GB storage variant, and may offer pioneer green and navigator beige colour choices.
The Realme 12+ 5G is speculated to feature a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is anticipated to boast a 50MP Sony LYT600 primary sensor with OIS, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. Additionally, the Realme 12+ 5G could house a 16MP selfie sensor and a 5,000mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC fast charging support.
Realme’s teaser has confirmed a punch-hole-style notch for the Realme 12+ 5G, with rumours suggesting the inclusion of an in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone is expected to run on the latest Android 14 operating system with a Realme UI skin.
