Thiruvananthapuram: Motorola has confirmed the imminent launch of its latest smartphone, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, in Bharat. Ahead of its official release, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has unveiled several key specifications, providing insights into the device’s camera, display, and additional features.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro will be available for purchase on Flipkart, Motorola.in, and various offline retail stores. Among its highlighted features are AI enhancements integrated into the camera, promising improved photo quality and adaptive stabilization to mitigate the effects of shaky hands.
Featuring a 6.7-inch 1.5K pOLED curved display with a remarkable 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 2,000 nits, the Edge 50 Pro offers an immersive viewing experience. Additionally, it is expected to include an in-display fingerprint sensor and Corning Gorilla 5 protection on the front panel.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and anticipated to run on the Android 14 operating system, the Edge 50 Pro boasts high-performance capabilities. Its camera setup is likely to comprise a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), accompanied by a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 10MP telephoto lens, ensuring versatility in photography.
Moreover, the smartphone is projected to feature a robust 4,500mAh battery, supporting rapid 125W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, catering to users’ fast-paced lifestyles.
