Even children in West Bengal want to chant “Jai Sree Ram”: BJP leader Rahul Sinha welcomed by chants by school children

Kolkata: It seems even children want to chant “Jai Sree Ram” without fear in Mamata Banerjee’s West Bengal. Their desire came out spontaneously in primary school at Balapara in Jalpaiguri, today, when the students began to chant “Jai Sree Ram” to welcome the BJP National Secretary, Rahul Sinha.

Rahul Sinha visited the school to participate in the plantation drive when the students came began chanting. He was walking along the corridor of the school when the outburst of Jai Sree Ram began to grow louder.

Sinha was visiting the Jalpaiguri constituency which was won by the BJP for the first time during the Lok Sabha election.

Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee, has made a point of driving out the chant from the state. She politicized the chant and equated it with sloganeering of the BJP.

Her intolerance to the chant came out when she scolded a group of people chanting it and even asked the police to arrest them while she passed by.

Scores of BJP workers are being put to death by Trinamool Congress goons and yet the party is growing by leaps and bounds. This has rattled the insecure Mamata Banerjee who is trying to curb the rising power of the BJP with every trick in the book.

She has even roped in the famous poll strategist Prashant Kishor to help her win the 2021 West Bengal Assembly elections and to block the rival BJP.
