Thiruvananthapuram: The central government has initiated the process to bring home the Malayalis trapped in the Russian-Ukraine warfront. According to reports, Prince from Anchuthengu and David from Pozhiyoor have been transferred to the Indian Embassy in Moscow and will be brought back home as soon as possible. Sources state that the central government issued travel documents to both individuals, who had lost their passports. Efforts are also underway to repatriate other Malayalis, Vineeth and Tinu, who are also trapped in Russia.

Union Minister of State for External Affairs, V. Muraleedharan, confirmed that Prince and David have been brought to the Indian Embassy. He informed Janam TV that efforts are also ongoing through official channels for Vineeth and Tinu.

The youths had traveled to Russia through a travel agent from Thumba with the promise of a secure job with a good salary. Upon arriving in Russia, they signed certain papers and were directed to military camps. After training, Prince and Vineeth were sent to one location, and Tinu to another.
