Thiruvananthapuram: Siddharth’s father, Jayaprakash expressed his faith in the Vice-Chancellor and the Inquiry Commission appointed by Governor Arif Mohammed Khan. Jayaprakash alleged that the government was unaware of the newly appointed Inquiry Commission, and if it had been informed, it might have attempted to sabotage the inquiry.
Jayaprakash said that the new investigation committee would identify all those responsible for Siddharth’s death, and he stated that when there is an Inquiry Commission, matters such as corruption will be investigated, which is why the Governor appointed the Inquiry Commission. Responding to Jayaprakash’s complaint about the government trying to undermine the CBI investigation, the Governor appointed a new Inquiry Commission headed by Former High Court Judge A. Hariprasad on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the newly appointed Vice-Chancellor of Pookode Veterinary University, KS Anil, visited Siddharth’s house and spoke with his father. Anil assured that he would do whatever he could and willingly support the investigation into Siddharth’s death.
