Islamabad: In a provocation that could further worsen the relations between India and Pakistan, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that India’s decision to revoke Article 370 will lead to terrorist attacks like what happened in Pulwama. In the tragic attack at Pulwama India had lost 40 soldiers when a Pakistan backed suicide terrorist blew himself near a convoy transporting CRPF soldiers.

Imran Khan’s irresponsible statement is an attempt by Pakistan to meddle into the internal issues of India to internationalize the matter.

He spoke in Pakistani Parliament today and told that India’s action could lead to incidents like Pulwama happening again.

Imran Khan added that when such incidents occur India will blame Pakistan and strike them to leading to an all out war where no one will win.

He said, “I can already predict this will happen. They will attempt to place the blame on us again. They may strike us again, and we will strike back. What will happen then? They will attack us and we will respond and the war can go both ways… But if we fight a war till we shed the last drop of our blood, who will win that war? No one will win it and it will have grievous consequences for the entire world. This is not nuclear blackmail.”

The Pakistani Prime Minister also asked the global leadership to take note and said that the and his party is committed to approach world leaders to apprise them about the situation in Kashmir.

He also announced that he will take the issue to the United Nations as well.

Pakistan, which is on the verge of collapse, is trying to get foreign funding to bail the it out of the situation. The administration needs some political issue to divert the attention of its citizen from the appalling economic crisis of the nation. With India’s move to revoke the special status the Pakistani Prime Minister has found the perfect issue to deflect attention away from his poor performance as Prime Minister.
