Washington DC: National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) on Saturday commended ISRO’s attempt to place ‘Vikram’ lander of Chandrayaan-2 mission on the moon’s south pole.
NASA tweeted, “Space is hard. We commend @ISRO’s attempt to land their #Chandrayaan2 mission on the Moon’s South Pole. You have inspired us with your journey and look forward to future opportunities to explore our solar system together.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed ISRO scientists and said “You are exceptional professionals who have made an incredible contribution to national progress. You have always given your best. We will give you several more opportunities to smile.”
