New Delhi: In his first annual Air Force Day press conference, the Indian Air Force (IAF) chief, Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria, said that the acquisition of Rafael fighter jets from France and the anti-missile system S-400 Truimf from Russia will enhance the strike capabilities of the IAF.
The Air Marshal also released a promotional video of the story of Balakot air strikes in retaliation to the Pulwama attack. He informed that the Sukhoi Su-30MKI’s will be upgraded soon to make them more deadly.
Air Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria said, “Air Force has achieved many important milestones in the last one year including the one on 26th February when we successfully targeted terror camps in Balakot (inside Pakistan).”
The Air Force chief warned Pakistan that any terror attacks will be responded by the security forces according to the decisions of the government. He hinted at the possibility of another Balakot type air strike at terror camps.
Bhadauria added that the IAF has achieved many milestones this year and the highlight was the attack at the Jaish-e-Mohammad terror camps at Balakot deep inside Pakistani territory. Hundreds of terrorists were killed at Balakot and delivered a deadly blow to the terror organization.
