Kozhikode: In the Koodathaiy murders in Kozhikode where a lady, Jolly Joseph, poisoned six members of her family over a period of fourteen years, the police have registered six cases against the accused. Earlier the police had registered only a single case against her for the murder of her husband Roy Thomas.

Today the police will take Jolly to the family home at Koodathaiy for investigation. The police will find it hard to control the crowds which might turn up in large numbers to see the killer lady. Security arrangements have also tightened.

The six murders occurred between 2002 and 2016 spanning a fourteen year period. The police will investigate each murder separately. Jolly Joseph had poisoned six members of her family including a 2 year old girl. Four persons were killed by using the deadly cyanide poison.

Meanwhile, police are also probing the death of a Congress worker who had financial dealings with Jolly Joseph. His son had come forward saying that the family now suspects that the Congress worker might have fell prey to Jolly’s poison. He was found dead in his bed in the morning. His family thought it was an heart attack.
