Taipei: Taiwanese military chief of the general staff was reportedly missing after the helicopter he was travelling undertook an emergency landing in the northern part of the country. The latest reports claim that Chief Shen Yi-min among eight others have been killed in the helicopter crash on Thursday.
A black hawk helicopter (UH-60M) with 13 on-board crashed in the mountains outside of Taipei, reported China Daily.
The defence ministry of Taiwan has reported that only five survivors have been rescued.
