Kummanam Rajasekharan Sworn in as Mizoram governor

Aizwal: Kummanam Rajashekaran took oath as Mizoram Governor today in Aizwal, the capital of Mizoram.Chief Justice who administered the oath to Kummanam in Aizwal. Following the oath taking ceremony,Kummanam received the Guard of Honour of police.

Kummanam, who was the BJP state president, is appointed as the Governor of Mizoram as the tenure of the present incumbent Lt Gen Nirbhay Sharma (retd) ended on Monday. He is the 23 rd governor of Mizoram and 2 nd governor from Kerala.
