Baghdad: According to sources Iraqi security services told Sputnik that on late Wednesday two Katyusha rockets had fallen in the Green Zone.
The Green Zone houses government buildings and foreign missions.
However, no casualties have been reported so far.
This is a subsequent attack from Iran after they had fired multiple missiles at two Iraqi bases housing US troops in the early hours of Wednesday. Iran has been targeting US missions due to the strike conducted by America that killed military general Qassem Soleimani last week.
