Kathmandu: In an unfortunate incident, 8 tourists from Kerala have been found dead in a hotel room of a resort in Daman.
The deceased have been identified as Praveenkumar Nair (39), Saranya (34), Sreebhadra (8), Abhi (7), Abhinav Surya (5), Renjith Kumar (39), Indu (34), Vaishnav (2). They all hailed from Thiruvananthapuram.
A total of 15 people had gone to Nepal.
SP Sushil Singh Rathore of District Police Office, Makwanpur said, “They were using gas heater in the room, suffocation might have caused their death.”
The Indian Embassy have reached the hospital.
However, the cause of death is yet to ascertain.
