Chennai: Superstar Rajinikanth expressed his opinion on the Citizenship Amendment Act where he said that the Act is not a threat to Muslims and if they face any trouble, he will be the first person to raise voice for them.
“The CAA is no threat to Muslims. If they face trouble, I will be the first person to raise voice for them,” Rajinikanth said.
The superstar also said that NPR is a necessity to find out about the outsiders. It has been clarified that NRC has not been formulated yet.
Earlier in December, he had expressed his concern over the violence happening in various parts of the country and had tweeted, ” Violence and rioting should not become a way to find solution for any issue. I request the people of India to stay united and vigilant keeping in mind the nation’s security and welfare.”
