On Lalu Prasad’s 73rd birthday, JDU installs poster listing ’73 Properties illegally acquired’

Patna: The Janata Dal (United) on Thursday embarrassed Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) President Lalu Prasad Yadav on his 73rd birthday by putting up posters that listed 73 properties acquired by him.

The 73 properties listed by JDU was acquired by Lalu Prasad Yadav and his family using political influence in Patna.

The poster read, “The list of properties acquired by political muscle power is still being compiled.”

Meanwhile, RJD leaders put up posters to wish their leader on his birthday.

Ex-CM of Bihar, Lalu Prasad Yadav has been accused in several scams worth crores. He was sentenced for a period of three and a half years in the Deoghar treasury case, and he has already spent more than one and a half years in jail.

Not only Deoghar case, Yadav has been sentenced to five years in jail in Bhagalpur treasury fodder case, five years in jail in Chaibasa treasury fodder scam, and 14 years in jail in Dumka treasury case, while several other fodder scam cases are still being heard by courts.

He is also facing probe in the Indian Railway tender case, disproportionate asset case, tax evasion, and Benami properties case, Patna Zoo soil case, etc.
