Thiruvananthapuram: BJP state President has asked the state government to take a serious note of the IS threat given to Janam TV. The channel must be provided with the necessary security.
He said that Janam TV’s coverage expose anti-national activities including, IS recruitment in Kerala has pressured them to threaten. Surendran was speaking to media in Thrissur.
Janam TV has been threatened on an Instagram page controlled by the Islamic State Kerala unit. The message begins with a headline ‘Message of Mujahideen to Janam TV’. The message also asks to be ready to say goodbye to this world.
