Kasaragod: In connection with a rape case of a 16-year-old minor girl by seven people including the victim’s father who is apparently a Madrassa teacher, more arrests are likely to be recorded. The accused in the case, including the mother, may be arrested today.
The police have already registered a POCSO case against the mother for hiding the crime against the minor.
Nileshwaram police have so far arrested four people, including the father, in connection with the incident.
Three more accused in the case are absconding and search operation is on to nab them.
At the same time, the police have stated that they will file a case under the POCSO Act against the doctor who performed the abortion on the girl.
