Thiruvananthapuram: The state recorded new 1,968 cases of coronavirus today. At the same time 1,217 recovered from the disease.
The state’s capital continues to record maximum cases with 429 followed by Malappuram 356, Alappuzha 198, Ernakulam 150, Kozhikode 130, Kottayam 124, Pathanamthitta 119, Kasaragod 91, Kollam 86, Kannur 78, Thrissur 72, Palakkad 65, Idukki 35 and Wayanand 35.
A total of nine deaths were reported today.
Of the confirmed cases 79 arrived from abroad, while 109 from other states. 1,737 infected through local transmission.
