Manali: Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is now a politician, was once sturdy and daring in 1997. Himachal Pradesh’s paragliding instructor recalls his experience with PM Modi.
Budhi Prakash, in 1997 took BJP leader Narendra Modi on a paragliding expedition and remembers him as “sturdy and daring”. The paragliding trip was taken in Solang valley. Prakash says Narendra Modi was then in-charge of BJP’s Himachal Pradesh unit when he had the opportunity to take him on the expedition in Solang.
“Modiji was sturdy and daring when he did his maiden paragliding in 1997,” an elated Prakash told IANS.
PM Modi will be addressing two public meetings in Himachal Pradesh after opening the strategic Atal Tunnel Rohtang on October 3.
