Lucknow: In the long awaited verdict in Disputed Structure demolition case, all 32 accused in the case has been acquitted by Special CBI Court. The verdict in the 28-year-old case involving the demolition of disputed structure, which stood at the Ram Janmabhoomi site in Ayodhya was announced by a special court in Lucknow.
Special CBI Court observed that the 1992 disputed structure demolition was not pre-planned and happened in the spur of the moment.
The court stated that there are no proofs for conspiracy. The CBI has failed to prove that there was a conspiracy to bring down the disputed structure in 1992.
The high-profile personalities in the case include senior BJP leaders such as Lal Krishna Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Uma Bharati, Kalyan Singh, among others.
