Thrissur recorded with 730 cases followed by Ernakulam 716, Malappuram 706, Alappuzha 647, Kozhikode 597, Thiruvananthapuram 413, Kottayam 395, Palakkad 337, Kollam 329, Kannur 258, Pathanamthitta 112, Wayanad 103, Kasaragod 65, Idukki 49.
With 24 additional deaths, the death toll now stands at 1376.
Of the confirmed cases, 88 people arrived from outside while 4702 infected through local transmission.
