Colleges under APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University to reopen on January 4

Thiruvananthapuram: Colleges under APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University to resume classes from January 4. Classes will be held in two shifts from 8:30am to 5:30 pm to ensure that only 50% of the students will be attending the college at a time. Saturdays will also be converted as working days.

The university has published detailed procedures to be followed in this regard as per the guidelines of the UGC and the Government. At the same time, students and teachers from Containment zones need not attend the college.

Third Semester M Tech, MRC and MPlan classes, Fifth Semester MCA, Ninth Semester Integrated MCA, Ninth Semester BArch and Seventh Semester B Tech classes will start from January 4. Fifth Semester B Tech, BHMCT, BRC, Fifth and Seventh Semester Integrated MCA and Seventh Semester BRC Contact Classes will begin on January 18th. Classes for students pursuing Third Semester MCA, Integrated MCA, Third Semester B Tech, BHMCT, B Arc and Third Semester B Tech Lateral Entry Courses will begin on February 1st. Classes for first-semester undergraduate students will begin on March 1 and for first-semester postgraduate students on February 22. Semester exams will be held during the period February-March 2021.
