New Delhi: The Central Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan Singh on Sunday said that the Covid vaccine will be made available free of cost in the country and the distribution will be start soon. The Minister also said that the permission of the emergency usage of the vaccine will be given within two days.
The Serum Institute had recommended a permission for the immediate usage of the Covi-shield vaccine. The decision was taken at an expert committee meeting held in Delhi yesterday.
At the same time, the second phase vaccine dry run was conducted in all the states and Union territories of the country. All procedures except injection were performed as part of the dry run. The Central Minister told the medias that he would analyze whether the steps taken as per the guidelines have been completed or not.
