Kolkata [West Bengal]: Trinamool Congress in West Bengal faces yet another set back as one more MLA from the party joined BJP. Diamond Harbour MLA Dipak Haldar joined BJP in the presence of former TMC and now BJP leaders Suvendu Adhikari and Mukul Roy.
Last day 5 Trinamol leaders namely, Former state minister Rajib Banerjee, Vyshali Dalmia, Prabeer Khoshal,former Howra mayor Ratheen Chakraborty, actor Rudraneel Khosh- had joined BJP stating Mamata Banerjee’s leadership faults.
Earlier senior TMC leaders including Suvendu Adhikari had joined BJP along with 11 other MLA’s. Several leaders had mentioned that they are leaving the party following Banerjee’s dictatorial rule.
