Uttar Pradesh Panchayat polls to take place in four phases in April

Uttar Pradesh State Election Commission announced to hold three-tier panchayat polls in four phases in April, 2021.

The polling dates are April 15, 19, 26 and 29. The counting of votes would take place on May 2.

The notification for the first phase of polls to be held in 18 districts will be issued on April 3 and the last date of nominations is April 7.

The notification for the second phase of polls to be held in 20 districts would be issued on April 7 and the last date of withdrawal will be April 11.

Notification for third phase of polls to be held in 20 districts would be issued on April 13 and the last date for withdrawal will be April 18.

The notification for the fourth and last phase of polls to be held in 17 districts would be issued on April 17 and the last date of withdrawal is April 21.

The voting, to be held through ballot papers would be held from 7am to 6pm. The counting of votes will be held on May 2 from 8am.
