Uttarakhand forest fire: CM Tirath Singh Rawat calls emergency meeting, Amit Shah assures help

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat on Sunday (April 4) called an emergency meeting over the forest fires in the state.

CM Rawat said, “We have asked Centre to give two choppers to control the fire situation and the same were given to them.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah assured all help to the Uttarakhand government to combat the fire.

“To take control over forest fire in Uttarakhand, Central government has given orders to deploy NDRF teams and provide helicopter to the Uttarakhand Government,” said Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
