Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa on Monday indicated that if necessary, another lockdown may be imposed in the state after the April 17 bypolls.
Addressing the press persons in Basavakalyan town in Bidar district the Chief Minister witnessing the current covid situation said “People need to respond for their own good and if they don’t then we may have to take stringent measures like lockdown in the state if necessity arises.”
Yediyurappa noted that if Covid cases increase in the coming days, strict rules may be imposed and night curfew would be extended to other districts also.
