The global death toll from COVID-19 has gone passed 3.077 million while number of cases crossed more 145 million said the US-based Johns Hopkins University in its latest update.

As of 20:30 GMT Friday (0200 hrs Saturday) the number of cases the world over stood at 145,095,141, including 3,077,628 fatalities.
The United States still has the highest case count in the world, with 31,968,306, including 570,932 fatalities.
