New Delhi, Jul 12 (UNI):   Lauding the NDA-led Union government’s performance in the past seven years, Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Monday said the Modi government’s transparent and result-oriented system ensured ‘blockade of power brokers and lockout of loot lobby from corridors of powers’.

The “delivery of decisions” under Mr Modi’s leadership has rid the country of the “disease of policy paralysis”, Mr Naqvi said, while attending oath taking ceremony of newly-elected Rampur Zila Panchayat Chairman Khyali Ram Lodhi in Rampur.

There were negligible COVID-19 treatment facilities in India at the time of the coronavirus outbreak, but now after one year of the pandemic, the Centre has worked effectively to ensure facilities and resources to tackle the challenge, Mr Naqvi was quoted as saying by a statement from his office.

Mr Naqvi listed slew of measures taken by the government, under which 2.3 crore houses were provided to the poor; Kisan Samman Nidhi to 11.23 crore farmers; free gas cylinders to more than eight crore needy women under ‘Ujjwala Yojana’; Mudra Yojana has benefitted more than 30 crore people, while thousands of villages deprived of electricity have been provided electricity; among other welfare measures.

The Prime Minister has converted ‘Rajniti (politics)’ into ‘Rashtraniti (national policy)’ and ‘Shasan (governance)’ into ‘Sushasan (good governance)’ through his farsighted leadership and strong willpower, the Minority Affairs Minister said.
