Lucknow: A woman underwent sex reassignment surgery to live with another woman of her choice. The incident took place at Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh. The woman chose surgery following her family’s refusal to live with her friend.
The lesbian women who decided to live together were strictly opposed by their family members. The opposition made one of them choose the surgery as a solution. They have been in love but their family failed to understand their situation.
The surgery was carried out at a private hospital in Prayagraj. The hospital official said that it will take a one and half year for the woman to become a man. The Doctor also said it was the first time they had performed such a surgery and hoped it would be a great success.
