‘Jananayakan’ awards presented; Janam TV’s mission is historical, says Goa Governor

Thiruvananthapuram: The State capital witnessed a spectacular evening today, in which Jananayakan  awards were presented to personalities who have actively contributed to the society in the areas of politics, culture and art . The awardees were selected by the biggest online poll conducted in Kerala.

Goa Governor P.S. Sreedharan Pillai  distributed the awards. “Janam T V has a mission- a historial mission”, said P S Sreedharan Pillai while distributing the awards.

C. Achutha Menon was chosen as the best Chief Minister of Kerala. His son Dr. Ramankutty received the award on behalf of  him. Kummanam Rajasekharan received the award for the most popular political leader in Kerala. Sandeep Vachaspati, the best youth leader, also received the award.
Sreekumaran Thampi, Professor C.G. Rajagopal and P. Narayana Kurup also received awards in the fields of art, literature and culture respectively.

M. Radhakrishnan, Chairman of the Ibis Group of Educational Institutions, received the Social Responsibility Award from the Industrial Sector.

Union Minister V. Muraleedharan was the chief guest in the function. RSS chief A. Jayakumar, Janam TV Managing Director U.S. Krishnakumar, Chief Operating Officer Girish C. Menon and Chief Editor G.K. Suresh Babu were also present in the occasion.
