Lucknow: A 23 year old Hindu girl from Gonda region was subjected to gang rape and religious conversion. Police took a case against four accused.
The police filed a case against the girl’s friend Javed, his brother and two of his friends. The girl had been missing since last month, and her parents had registered a complaint. During the investigation it was found that the girl was gang raped and converted to Islam.
Javed was the friend of the victim. She was familiar to his brother and friends too. Meanwhile, the girl was kidnapped to Mumbai by Javed’s brother and his friends on 14th last month. She was gang raped in a hotel room in Mumbai and converted to Islam forcefully. Later Javed married her.
The missing case was filed by the victim’s father.
