Kolkata, July 12 (UNI) NDA presidential nominee Droupadi Murmu on Tuesday canvassed for support from BJP MPs and MLAs from West Bengal. Murmu, who arrived here on Monday, interacted with BJP lawmakers at a five- star hotel.
BJP state president Sukanta Majumdar and leader of the opposition in the state Assembly Suvendu Adhikari were present during the meeting.
Earlier in the day, Murmu visited the ancestral house of Swami Vivekananda in north Kolkata.
The BJP has 17 Lok Sabha members and 75 MLAs from the state.
