Singapore: Indian Badminton Talent P V Sindhu has won the Singapore Open 2022 Women Singles. Sindhu defeated China’s Wang Zhi for 21- 9, 11 – 21, 21 – 15 in a three – game battle
Sindhu, the Olympics winner, is the second woman who won the Singapore Opens and the 3 rd winner among the Men and Women players.
Earlier the Singapore open was won by Saina Nehwal in 2010 and Sai Praneeth in 2017.
After winning the 2019 world badminton title, this is a major title won by Sindhu.
In the Malaysia and Indonesia Opens, Sindhu was eliminated in the quarter and first round.
