Kabul: Taliban continues suppression on women. Report says that Taliban has ordered the women employees to stop going to work and send their male relatives as substitutes.
A woman from Afghanistan has registered a complaint to the international media in which she says that she has been forced by the Taliban government to stop her work and told her to send a male relative instead. Afghan women revealed that they are facing huge decline in the salary and asked to leave when questioned.
It is also reported that the women who were working for 15 years have even received phone calls from the human resource department demanding the same.
Taliban, who captured power in late August last year, have taken away women’s rights one after by one. They received huge criticisms for restricting the entry of women in educational institutions.
Last day, the United Nations asked the Taliban to allow girls to study.
The Taliban follows a policy of keeping women out of society on the grounds of religion.
