Patna: A young man was stabbed and injured for watching Nupur Sharma’s video. The victim named Ankit Cha was attacked by the fundamentalists inside a tea shop at Sitamarhi in Gujarat. Police arrested Mou Bilal and Mohammad, natives of Gaura region in Nanpur village and two others escaped.
The culprits were provoked when the youngster watched Nupur’s video and stabbed him out of anger, Said his father Manoj Cha.
Ankit is a native of Bahera village in Nanpur and he had been watching the video while sitting inside a tea shop.
The culprits blew cigarette smoke on Ankit’s face and treated him badly before stabbing him. When Ankit questioned about this, they stabbed him on his right waist. Ankit has six stab wounds on his body and he gave a statement to the police including the same details.
Currently, Ankit is undergoing treatment in a hospital at Darbhanga. His father demanded the police to arrest the fundamentalists who attacked his son and also demanded strict legal actions.
Meanwhile, Ankit’s father said that he had already given the details to the police but they excluded the incident of watching Nupur Sharma’s video from the report. He also alleged that the police are trying to hide the truth.
At the same time, the police have another version of the incident. They said that the conflict happened between two friends who attacked each other while having paan at a nearby shop. And in the meantime, one person stabbed the other. Police also said the youngster’s health is out of danger now.
