Kochi: Enforcement Directorate to take strict actions in the ongoing Kerala gold and dollar smuggling case. ED will submit Swapns’s statement, against Pinarayi Vijayan and his family, to the Supreme Court.
The secret statement was given by Swapna to the Magistrate court on 6 and 7 June.
Swapna has given the statements against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, his family and the senior IAS officer Sivasankar in connection to the gold and dollar smuggling case.
It was decided to submit the secret statement to the Supreme Court after receiving legal advice from senior lawyers.
The investigation agency was informed last day that they are ready to file Swapna’s 164 statement in the Supreme Court. Magistrate court has instructed them to not leak the statements as it has serious allegations.
In this case, the secret statement will be produced in the Supreme Court only in a sealed cover.
