New Delhi: Draupadi Murmu, NDA candidate, is all set to be the 15th President of the nation. Murmu is far ahead of the opponent candidate after first round of counting. Now votes of MLAs will be counted.
Droupadi Murmu has got 540 votes of 3,78,000 value. Opponent candidate Yashwant Sinha has got 208 votes, the value of votes being 1,45,600.
Rajya Sabha Secretary General P C Modi has declared the votes of both candidates.
Counting of votes began at 11 am today. Murmu has been taking the lead from the beginning itself.
