Munnar: 3 police officers who are under investigation in the case of leaking secret information to terrorists were transferred to other districts.
Munnar Police Station Officers PV Aliyar and PS Riaz have been transferred to Ernakulam district and Abdul Samad has transferred to Kottayam district.
The news on the leakage of information was out on 15 May. The DGP ordered the Munnar DYSP to take up the investigation. The investigation officers had seized the accusers mobile phones and handed it over to the Cyber Cell.
Secret investigation agencies had also started investigation on the case.
This transfer order can be considered as the primary step of the investigation.
