Ernakulam: 1.16 kilogram of gold was seized in a massive gold hunt in Nedumbassery Airport. A native of Malappuram, Abdul Saleem was arrested in the incident by the customs.
Abdul had hid the gold in his body in the form of paste. But the police examined him out of suspicion and found the hidden gold. He brought the gold from Sharjah.
The culprit is being interrogated for getting more details on gold smuggling.
