Kozhikode: Muslim associations have said that they can never accept the gender neutral initiatives implemented by the state Government and it should be withdrawn soon.
They said that it is not acceptable bringing ideas that say gender neutrality is the only way to overcome gender discrimination. The Muslim community leaders have expressed their opinion after a meeting arranged by Kozhikode Muslim League.
Majority of the people in Kerala are religious and it is purely a fascist action by implementing such ideas without considering such things, said the community leaders. They also said that the Government is trying to forcefully impose gender neutral ideas in the educational institutions.
