Lahore: Pakistan former Prime Minister Imran Khan praised India. He pointed out that India is a nation that is taking care of its citizens without bending its head before the threats of US and European nations. He expressed his opinion by playing a video of the Indian Foreign Minister S Jaisankar.
Imran praised India overcoming the stress imposed by America, for purchasing oil from Russia at low cost. Both India and Pakistan gained freedom during the same period. If India could, then Pakistan can also take firm decisions against US protests. But instead, the Pakistan Government is simply obeying them, said Imran
He played Jaisankar’s video by saying that “look at how India opposed America’s order even though they have close bilateral connections”
In that video Imran Khan pointed to Jaisankar asking, if Europe has the right to buy gases from Russia then India also has rights to purchase enough oil. Who are you to say ‘no’ on this?
Jaishankar was expressing his viewpoints on the Globesek 2022 forum that took place in Slovakia.
Imran Khan’s speech and remarks about India have become viral in the social media platforms. People said BJP would even fetch seats in Pakistan too. They also said that the opposition parties’ protests against the Indian government are meaningless.
