Islamabad: Due to the false allegations of burning Quran, Muslims attempted to kill a Hindu man, Ashok Kumar, who has been working as a cleaner. The incident took place at Nadar region in Hyderabad.
Ashok had quarrelled with a shopkeeper in the region, Bilal Abbasi. Following that, Abbasi filed a complaint in which, he alleged Ashok over disrespecting Islam. He also encircled Ashok’s house with a group of Islamic people.
People said that one who disrespects the Quran should be killed. The Police reached there after some time and dismissed the mass. The investigation proved that the Quran was burned by a Muslim women and the blame on Ashok was baseless.
Police apologised to the public over filing a complaint against Ashok and also for not registering one against the mass.
