Rahul Dravid tested Covid positive: VVS Laxman to be the Interim coach

Mumbai: VVS Laxman will be the interim coach of the Asia Cup as Rahul Gandhi tested Covid Positive.

Rahul tested positive yesterday, before his trip to Team UAE. BCCI informed that he will re-join after testing negative.

VVS Laxman, the Head of National Cricket Academy had taken the interim coach position previously too. He was the main coach during the time of the Zimbabwe – Ireland Tournament.

The Asia Cup Tournament will begin on 27 this month and the first match will be against Pakistan.
