NewDelhi: BJP MLAs in Delhi will meet the President demanding the removal of Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, who is facing serious corruption charges related to the liquor scam. The MLAs will submit a petition in this regard to President Draupadi Murmu at 11 am  today.

The decisive move comes after the BJP came forward with more evidence related to the corruption in the excise policy introduced by the Delhi government. Eight BJP MLAs will visit the President.

The BJP centers have released a video in which Kulwinder Marwa, the father of Sunny Marwa, who is accused in connection with the case, has given bribe to get the license. The Aam Aadmi Party and Sisodia have been denied all the allegations. Sunny Marwa is the 12th accused in the case. The video clearly states that 80% of the bribe money is for the Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and their friends. Last month, the CBI raided Sisodia’s house in connection with the scam. Evidence was also collected from his bank locker.
