Bhopal: Authorities arrested and demolished the house of the culprit who raped a three-year-old girl. The incident took place at Shah Pura region in Madhya Pradesh under the surveillance of police. It is said that his house was built illegally. He has been arrested under the POCSO act.
He committed the crime on Thursday last week. The girl was raped while returning home from school. Her parents immediately registered a case when the girl revealed her experience.
The police said that the girl has identified the bus driver. Police also arrested the female attendent in the bus who was there in the bus at the time of the incident.
Meanwhile, there is a complaint that the school authority tried to cover up the issue. They will be interrogated over the complaint, said Home Minister Narotham Mishra.
The National Child Rights Commission has asked the Bhopal District Collector to submit a detailed report on the incident within three days.
