Bhopal: Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the cheetahs that came to India after seven decades. He released the cheetahs at Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh. Eight cheetahs to the Indian soil. Five female cheetahs and three male cheetahs were flown in from Namibia.
It is also noteworthy that the cheetahs, which became extinct in the country in 1952, were brought to India on the Prime Minister’s birthday. He returned to the country after attending the Shanghai Summit. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also attended the event.
Cheetahs from Namibia were brought to the country today. It is estimated that the cheetah’s will take time to adapt to the Indian climate.
