Varanasi: The BJP workers in Varanasi have celebrated PM Narendra Modi’s birthday by conducting prayer in the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Neelakandh Tiwari, the MLA of Varanasi South had also offered 51 litres of milk and saffron to the temple diety. The workers celebrated their joy by sharing sweets and fruits.
The workers of ‘Namami Gange’ organized cleaning programmes. The epic Ramayana has been chanted continuously in the Manokamna Siddha Hanuman temple at Gilath Bazaar. Later cut a 72 kg cake that was made of Laddu (an Indian sweet).
The life story of Modi is being displayed in Shaheed Gardens and the authority said this will continue till 19th September. Varanasi is the Lok Sabha constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
