NewDelhi: After a year of uncertainty, Captain Amarinder Singh is finally in the BJP. Amarinder Singh also announced that the newly formed Punjab Lok Congress has been merged with the BJP. Union Ministers Narendra Singh Tomar and Kiren Rijiju presided over the ceremony. After resigning from the Congress, Amarinder formed his own party and contested in the Punjab assembly elections.
Captain Amarinder has always put the national interest first. Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said that Amarinder has the support of lakhs of BJP followers. Earlier, Amarinder Singh met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Amit Shah and National President J P Nadda. The turning point was the meeting held with Amit Shah on the 12th.
